Anyone have any idea what this is for? I noticed it tonight when doing some work and I can't figure out what purpose it serves?

New Text Box in Google Search?

Well, I'm a bit late in a response, but it seems that the box in question has been removed!
I did have two guesses though...
1. It might have been a publishing mistake - something they were working on that wasn't intended to be published, or
2. It might have been intended as a place for users to leave themselves a note when printing the page. (Mapquest has a box like that on the "printer friendly" version of their directions pages.)
Of course, I could be way off, and there might be some holy purpose for such a box that the mighty Google Gods will eventually explain preceding a text box relaunch.
In the mean time, I'm glad it's gone.
